The history of the store begins in 2004, when we opened our first store in the center of Thessaloniki. Back then, it was only about items and gifts that I bought from people traveling to countries in Northeast Asia, from intermediaries. It didn't take long, no more than 6 months, until I decided to go myself to the beautiful cities of Bangkok, Thailand, and Bali, Indonesia. I was captivated by the vibrant colors of the clothes and the elaborate patterns on every piece of fabric I encountered. I knew from that moment that the content of our store would change completely. Just two years later, I was already bringing tops, pants, shirts, jumpsuits, bags, accessories, hats from Thailand, Indonesia, and Nepal. I loved from the beginning all the interactions I had with the locals, who were very kind and willing to show me all the markets in the city and where I could find the most skilled craftsmen and artisans. Since then, every time we go we add more creators to our list of suppliers and of course we have many, with whom we have built long and loving relationships.

.

But our journey was not only about ups and downs. The Economic Crisis hit Greece, a pivotal moment in the history of the store. In order to survive these difficult times, when unfortunately many stores in Greece were closing every day, we had to find an alternative. This alternative came in the form of fairs. We decided to expand our trade and sell our products at trade fairs all over Greece. The Experience was from the beginning a lot of fun and it still is (We haven't stopped taking part and we don't plan to). The people at the Fairs and the Energy are something unique. Later on, we will include on our website the dates of the bazaars and where you can find us.

The whole adventure with COVID-19 and the Lockdowns that followed gave us a new setback. When there was no place to sell our products, the fairs were postponed for two years and the help from the government was negligible, we had to find a new way out and this is the website you are on right now. For the first time, we turned to e-commerce, a venture that went incredibly well and we continue to this day. In 2020, we even made the decision to open a second store at Georgiou Stavrou 7, next to Agia Sofias, in order for more people to get to know us than they already knew.

This year we are particularly happy because later in the year we will celebrate 20 Years of Operation of Me Gusta, something that makes us particularly proud!!!
